Do you have to many stuffed animals laying around that you can’t bare to give away?
Do you really want a pet spa for your dolls but your really lazy?
If you do, this is the perfect “craft” for you.
If you have an empty shelf or big cardboard box that would be an ideal location for the pet spa.
For lighting I used a clip on light from IKEA.
For a pet bath I used a circular container.
You could use a tiny box for a shelf.
I got these posters from american girl play LINK HERE (after you play the game there is an option to print)
You could use another box or a jewelry box.
On the counter, I have a some “treats” (beads) in a clay bowl I made.
These pictures are from the AG website. And hooks made out of wire to hang leashes, which is cut ribbon.
Your doll’s pets will love this quick and easy craft!
Today I am going to show you carrots that I made, and apples that my friend Claire made.
Carrots and dip
Apples and peanut butter
The carrots are orange craft foam and the dip is paint mixed with glue. I also glued the carrots to the paper which is a plate.
The apples are basically the same with a few differences.
This is peanut butter?
Jane likes it!
Today I made some gloves and a bag for Jane and Judy (mostly for Jane). Lets have a look…
Here we are.
As you can see, one of the gloves is blue
and the other is pink.
The bag is 100% hand sewn by Quinn. I love it!!!
Yeah, thats it.
Behind the scenes…
Today I was inspired by this to make my own doll binder.
Here it is.
On the inside there is a pocket and two paper clips that hold papers.
Jane is now going to put her school things into her new binder.
“I can put my homework here,” Jane says.
“and my planner.”
“I’m going to put my book and my pencil in the pocket.”
“And my water bottle can go back in my back pack.”
Hi everyone! Today I’m going to show you how to make doll ice cream. Lets get started!
You will need:
-a rubber band
-a small plastic cup
-something to write with
First, get your plastic cup and wrap duct tape around it.
Write the ice cream logo and flavor on the paper.
Cut it out then tape it to the cup.
Cut out a circle of fabric that is a little bigger than the top of the cup.
Put your pom pom/ ice cream into the cup.
Use a rubber band to hold the fabric circle onto the cup.
You now doll ice cream!
Hello! Today I am going to show you how to make 2 mini doll hats. Lets get started!
For the first hat you will need ribbon and a lid like the one in the picture. I got my lid from The Lego Store pick a brick.
Lay the ribbon down and place the lid on top like in the picture.
Pick up the ribbon.
Tie a knot.
And you now have a hat for your mini doll!
For the second hat you will need a sock and something to cut the sock with. (The sock in the picture is not the sock I used to make the hat.)
Cut off the toe of the sock and you should get something like that looks like a mini doll hat.
You now have 2 hats for your mini dolls!
Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you how to make a doll dress form like the one in this post. Lets get started.
(sorry but this is the only picture)
You will need:
– a juice or honey container (empty)
– a circle shaped container (empty)
– at least 3 rubber bands
– something to cut fabric
First you are going to cut out a circle from your fabric and line up the center of the fabric with the top of the juice or honey container. pull your fabric down and place your three rubber bands on top of everything to hold it down. Tape the other container to the other container and on the bottom container put some tape on it and write the company’s name.
After following those steps you will have a doll dress form!
This post shows you how to make doll pillows.
You will need:
-A coin purse
First fill up the coin purse up to the top with fabric scraps.
Then zip it shut, and your done!
Jane is seeing how the pillows look on the chair.
She has decided to put them on her and Judy’s bed.
Today (as promised) I made a Grace inspired craft!
Jane now works there and she is going to give you a tour.
“Hi everybody!” Jane says. “This is my new macaron shop!”
“This is the entire shop.”
“Since I love pandas, I decided to help them, as you can see.”
“The reason the shop is so bright is that Quinn let me use one of her lights. This one clips onto the side of the shop/shelf.”
“All stores have seating! My shop has a table with a pretty butterfly pattern.”
“This is a cash register that Quinn made for the shop.”
“These are the tongs I use to pick up the macarons.”
“Here is Quinn demonstrating.”
“And here are the macarons!!!!!!!
The flavors are:
“This is one of the boxes that they come in”
“and this is the bag”
“Look! A customer!” Says Jane.
“Hi!” Says Judy. “I would like one macaron in each flavor.”
So Jane got one of each flavor.
“Here you go.” Jane says.
“Thanks!” Judy says.
“Here is your change.” Jane says.
“Bye!” Jane says.
“Bye!” Judy says.
“Well thats it. Bye!!!”
I made the macarons by cutting out circles (on a laser cutter) and the filling was puffy paint. The boxes that the macarons came in were actually boxes that had flash-drives in them. And the bags were plastic bags with rubber bands on them.
